Wren Dempster

Character · Journalist
A woman, half-lit by a desk lamp, stopped mid-realization.

Wren Dempster is a freelance journalist, born approximately 1991, currently filing from Lisbon. She has written, over the last eleven years, for a series of European newsweeklies, American digital outlets, and one Swedish magazine that has since ceased publication. She is the compiler of the present archive.

The institution does not appear to have considered her a person of interest prior to October 2026. She had been writing, at the time of first contact, a Friday column about a port-workers' strike in Lisbon for an outlet that did not pay enough to retain her. The package arrived at four-eleven in the morning. The institution did not, by any record available to this compilation, send it.

She has, at this filing, not been Taken. Whether she will be is not a question the institution has formally answered.

Filed: Lisbon, autumn 2026. Cross-reference: the package, the wall, the photographs.
